BIO: 

Mary Ann  Mieczkowski began her job as Director, Exceptional Children Resources, at the Delaware Department of Education in 2011. Prior to becoming the Director in Delaware, Mary Ann served as the Supervisor of Special Education in the Appoquinimink School District, Middletown Delaware.

Mary Ann believes the best part about leading special education in Delaware is the dedication to serve students with disabilities by the SEA and LEAs in collaboration with parents/families.
