IAWA TU Delft Scholarship
On September 7th, IAWA President Lisa Piccione joined with the faculty and students at TU Delft in the Netherlands to present a 2017 IAWA scholarship to aerospace engineering student Sumana Mukherkee. IAWA added a STEM-focused scholarship this year in Europe and is delighted to partner with TU Delft in our mission to attract and promote young women to careers in aviation and aerospace. In 2017, IAWA will award a total of six scholarships to female students from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, SMU Dedman School of Law, Vaughn College, TU Delft and McGill University. IAWA’s commitment to and investment in the next generation of women leaders is central to IAWA’s mission to Connect, Inspire and Lead.
IAWA is a non-profit association providing a worldwide network dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in the aviation and aerospace industries at all levels across the globe.
