International Women’s Day
The IAWA Board of Directors and the Advisory Board invite you to join us in celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) 2017 on March 8th. Across the globe, individuals, companies and organizations are holding events to recognize this important day. IWD’s website notes, “International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.”
Since 1988, IAWA has effectively promoted the advancement of women in aviation and aerospace through an ever expanding global network that builds strong professional connections, promotes leadership development, and creates enduring bonds with colleagues across all industry sectors and geographic regions. IAWA is also committed to reaching out to the next generation and helping to attract and retain future women leaders in aviation and aerospace.
Today, our mission to Connect, Inspire and Lead joins IAWA with others around the world to globally advance opportunities for women — and to #BeBoldForChange.
