IAWA Dallas Connect at Heli-Expo March 2017
During Heli-Expo 2017 in Dallas, TX, Safran was honored to host IAWA on March 8th which was also International Women’s Day.
Bettina Frey, VP Communications for Safran Helicopter Engines spoke about the importance of diversity and women in aviation as well as mentoring young women so they know there is a great support network available to them. She gave examples of what she is doing personally and how Safran is promoting mentorship programs. The event was very well attended by women in top leadership positions within the helicopter industry, including Bell Helicopter, The Cirlot Agency, Genesys Aerosystems and Safran. Many women stopped by to learn more about IAWA and future membership.
