Airports Council International—North America (ACI-NA) was pleased to partner with IAWA to bring women in airports together during the 2017 ACI-NA Annual Conference and Exhibition. On September 18th, the 40 attendees (including Lysa Scully, CEO of LaGuardia Airport) (see photo below) heard from ACI-NA President and CEO Kevin Burke as Airports Council International (ACI) Director General Angela Gittens (see photo above). Ms. Gittens informed the group that in late 2014 ACI and IAWA signed an affiliation agreement to work collaboratively on education, training and job opportunities. She noted that ACI also provides IAWA members with scholarships for the Airport Operations Diploma Programme (AODP) and the  Airport Executive Leadership Programme (AELP).
